Double Chocolate Decadence Cookie

I found a new vice today! Since seeing ads in VegNews, I've wanted to try an Alternative Baking Company cookie. Their goal is to make the best cookie in the galaxy, and aside from homemade, I'd say mission completed. The cookie is moist and full of flavor. What it lacks is hydrogenated oils, cholesterol, preservatives, artificial ingredients, refined sugars, eggs, dairy, and honey. On top of all that, it seems like a really cool company. The back of the packaging explains why one should eat organic and vegan. Do yourself a favor and have a cookie!

I tried a couple of cookies when I visited long beach a couple of months ago.

The coffee shop where Bob works sells these, and he gets to buy them for a discount. Score! My favorite is the pumpkin spice cookie... At the coffee shop they sell better than the "normal" cookies--take that!

I used to love these back in CA. As long as I don't see the nutrition label (did you know that each cookie is 2 servings??) I'm good!

There are so many great vegan products out there--and so little time!

I have yet to try these, but I've heard pretty favorable reviews on them (yours included) - I'll have to look for them in stores!

Thanks for checking out my blog!
These cookies look so yummy! We got some with our VegNews subscription a while back, but I don't think we got a double chocolate one, which, obviously, would've been my favorite. :)

Oh I looove these cookies! The oatmeal raisin ones are my favorites! For me, they're a delicious, easy way to take in extra calories. My sister lives in Boston, and her Starbucks sells these... Wow I wish mine would!

PS, thanks SO much for adding me :o). I will of course add you too (when I get around to making a blogroll!). Also, thank you for the sweet comments about my meme. They really made my day.

hi kumudha: you were in LB? we have relatives there and go often...

hi laura: that's cool they sell better than the regular! a discount would be dangerous to my waistline! lol!

hi bazu: seems everything has some fine print these days, but they're definately big enough to share! :)

hi urban: vegan stuff is a little rare around here. vegetarian is even a bit radical...

shoutout to veggiegirl!

hi vegmomma: i noticed they started giving these cookies with subscriptions --- soon after I joined...

hi little vegan: i'll try oatmeal raisin next time. i'd love to see a coffee shop in town offering these!

thanks for coming by everybody and taking time to comment! :)

Double Chocolate Decadence is sooo devine! We like to heat it up in the microwave for about 20 seconds so that the chocolate can melt, and then it is so deliciously gooey!

Snickerdoodle is our second favorite, along with cranberry orange cookie muffin (seasonal).

These are the best store bought cookies ever!

-Peace, LK

There is only one health store in town that carries these. Whenever we go, we buy a couple for a treat. They are so yum. We love the double chocolate and the peanut butter chocolate chip.
