ProBar

I was excited to find a package from ProBar on our doorstep. They sent a sampling of their new 'Sweet & Savory' line for my consideration. How fun! I learned that Pro Bar is a whole food meal made with organic ingredients, no trans fat, rich in raw foods, and vegan. Sounds good, eh? They really are, but we had to play favorites, and Art was willing to humor me with a taste test. We ranked the bars according to what we thought we'd like (anticipated). Then, ranked them again after tasting and analyzing each bar (actual).

Art(anticipated) -- Art(actual)
#1MaplePecan #1MaplePecan
#2CocoaPistach #2CherryPretzel
#3CherryPretz #3KettleCorn
#4KettleCorn #4CocoaPistach
#5SesameGoji #5SesameGoji

Vic(anticipated) -- Vic(actual)
#1CherryPretzel #1CherryPretzel
#2KettleCorn #2KettleCorn
#3SesameGoji #3MaplePecan
#4CocoaPistachio #4SesameGoji
#5MaplePecan #5CocoaPistachio

I'll pick up a ProBar next time. Each bar is packed with whole pieces of nuts and fruit, and the combination of sweet and savory flavors keep your taste buds interested. They're delicious and good for you. What is your favorite flavor (anticipated or actual)?!

Glad that you like them!! I haven't tried any ProBars yet, but the Maple-Pecan flavor sounds the most appealing to me.

I love ProBars. What fun to do a little taste test.

I like the way that ProBars have so many great flavors, and how they really fill me up.

Yum. Kettle Corn is intriguing!

How did you score the samples?

(I want to try the Kettle Corn! Oh, and Cherry Pretzel, too!)

Those Probars look tasty and filling! The flavor I would most likely want to try out of your four samples is sesame goji.

The four flavors out of all of their flavors online that I really want to try are nutty banana boom, whole berry blast, sesame goji, and cran-lemon twister. Unfortunately, I can't handle peanut butter that well, and only the berry blast is peanut butter-free.

Hmm my family must have weird tastebuds... we didn't like them at all (which is why I refrained from doing a review on my blog). Oh well, different strokes for different folks, as they say

P.S. May I add your lovely blog to my blogroll?

I saw these over at melomeals last week. I don't even know if these are available in Canada yet, but I'm going to have a look around. Maple Pecan?! Kettle Corn?! My fingers are crossed.

Love your new photo!!

I've never had a probar, but I think my anticipated flavor would be maple pecan. I'll let you know when I figure out the actual!

I just finished reviewing ProBar on my blog! I liked the Sesame Goji the best, although the bf scarfed down the Maple Pecan and Cocoa Pistachio w/o leaving me a crumb :] I guess that means he liked them.

I've heard lots of good things about Pro bars, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. I'll have to look for them next time I go shopping!
